We remember one of our founding members
This week, we lost one of our founding members. Gus, aka GusBus, passed peacefully at home with his human family in Vermont. Gus helped us start Hedgehog Running Club back in late 2020, and was there for our first-ever public event on February 4th, 2021. Gus was a member of the legendary H-Team, joining dangerous missions around the globe. In 2021, Gus joined with Lemmy and his pals Jambi, Ollie, and 7empest as the drummer in the world’s first hedgehog rock band, HOG. HOG performed all over the world, and held massive festival concerts, including the epic HogFest in Las Vegas in 2022, which featured dozens of hedgehog bands.
Gus is survived by his fren, Miss Prickles, and his humans have recently adopted Gus’ brother, Lucky. We know Gus made it safely to the rainbow bridge because you can hear his drums with every passing thunderstorm.
